The American University of Phnom Penh offers scholarships to students who have exemplified an outstanding academic record during their high school studies and are in need of financial assistance. AUPP offers the following scholarships:

1. Merit Scholarships: Students who have achieved Grade A or B in their National High School Exams are eligible for the Merit Scholarships.

2. Private Scholarships: AUPP provides private scholarships up to 100% to eligible students based on academic achievement and financial needs. The private scholarships for Academic Years: 2018 – 2020 are yet to be announced.

3. Need & Academic-based Scholarships: AUPP offers Need & Academic-based Scholarships on a case-by-case basis for those who are in financial need. AUPP reserves the right to confirm your financial need if you are applying for a need-based scholarship.

Scholarship and tuition fee will be divided differently according to two programs: AUPP Single Degree Program and AUPP Double Degree Program.

For AUPP Single Degree Program:

Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students who have obtained grade A or B from Cambodian National High School Examination as below:

Grade A students are eligible for a $ 1,500 per academic year scholarship:

Note:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 150.

Grade B students are eligible for a $ 1,000 per academic year scholarship:

Note:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 167.

For AUPP Double Degree Program:

Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students who have obtained grade A or B from Cambodian National High School Examination as below:

1. Students enrolling in Business, Law, Computer Science or Tourism and Hospital Management:

Grade A students are eligible for a $ 4,500 per academic year scholarship for 1st and 2nd year:

Note:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 150 for Year 1 and 2.
• 1 credit is $ 300 for Year 3 and 4.

Grade B students are eligible for a $ 4,000 per academic year scholarship for 1st and 2nd year:

Note:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 167 for Year 1 and 2.
• 1 credit is $ 300 for Year 3 and 4.

2. Students enrolling in Civil Engineering program:

Grade A students are eligible for a $ 3,000 per academic year scholarship for 1st and 2nd year:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 200 for Year 1 and 2.
• 1 credit is $ 300 for Year 3 and 4.

Grade B students are eligible for a $ 2,000 per academic year scholarship for 1st and 2nd year:

• A normal course load for one semester is 5 courses or 15 credits.
• 1 credit is $ 234 for Year 1 and 2.
• 1 credit is $ 300 for Year 3 and 4.
